Yellowstone actor Cole Hauser is among the many celebrities to honor fallen men and women of the armed force this Memorial Day.

Hauser is a Yellowstone fan favorite for his portrayal of rough and tough cowboy Rip Wheeler. Away from the set, Hauser keeps fans engaged on social media by sharing his and his family’s adventures. With filming for the upcoming new season of Yellowstone complete, Hauser is enjoying some downtime. On Monday, he took a moment to thank military veterans for their service and remembers those making the ultimate sacrifice. His social media post was well-received by Yellowstone fans and his Instagram followers.

“From my family to all the families that have lost ones serving this great nation,” he says in the social media post. “We are thinking of you today. God Bless us.”

Hauser also includes a black and white photo of a kneeling soldier. Numerous Yellowstone fans chime in to thank Hauser for the moving post. Some social media users took to the post’s comments section to also honor Memorial Day.

“God bless this great nation and the Men and Women who lost their lives defending it,” an Instagram user writes. “Happy Memorial Day.”

‘Yellowstone’ Star Cole Hauser Enjoying the Offseason

Hauser has been active on social media as of late, sharing the activities that he and his family are participating in. Just Sunday he posted a video showing the family having a good time in the water.

“Country boy in the Keys,” he says while adding a laughing emoji to the end of the post.

As is the case with many of Hauser’s social media posts, Yellowstone fans reply with excitement for the approaching new season.

“Good to see you and your family enjoying the fruits of your labor,” a fan says in the comments. “Speaking of which the Yellowstone Marathon is on now this whole weekend. Good to see it again. Been a spell. Enjoy!”

We don’t have an official date yet, but Yellowstone should be returning for season four soon. Fans are certainly curious about what lies ahead for Rip Wheeler and the bunkhouse crew. With his adopted family coming under attack in the season three finale, you can best bet Rip will have something to say about it.

Hang in there Yellowstone fans — our wait is quickly coming to an end.
