“Yellowstone” actor Cole Hauser is among the many individuals paying tribute to servicemen and women on Veterans Day.

Today, millions of people are using their daily activities to say a special thank you to those who protect our freedom. Veterans Day is an emotional day for many who have lost loved ones in the military. It is also a day of appreciation and thankfulness to American soldiers who risk their lives every single day. Many Americans are using social media to express their gratitude to the military services. Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler on “Yellowstone,” offered up his and his family’s appreciation in a Thursday Instagram post.

In his social media post, gives a kind word of thanks for the protection of freedoms these brave men and women fight for. He also shares a photo that asks viewers to remember those who have served and lost their lives in battle.

“From my family to all of yours,” he says in the social media post. “We thank you for all that you have given to protecting our freedoms and the many freedoms around the world. God bless!”

Hauser’s Thursday post prompted numerous “Yellowstone” fans to also share their appreciation for the men and women of the United States military.

“Thank you for recognizing our true heroes!” a “Yellowstone” fan says in the comments section of the post. “Happy Veterans Day to the men and women serving our country.”

“My son in law just returned from 319 days in Iraq, his second deployment,” another fan says. We are so happy to have him home!”

“God Bless our service members who fight for our freedom,” another says. “We are so thankful for all that you do.”

‘Yellowstone’ Kicks New Season With a Bang

“Yellowstone” officially made its way back into our lives last weekend and Cole Hauser’s Rip Wheeler was a big part of it.

Rip is the first person to come upon a dying John Dutton who has just been shot several times. Rip is able to save John’s life by rushing him to the nearest hospital with the help of a helicopter from Kayce Dutton.

Rip arrives back at “Yellowstone” Ranch to learn that his cabin was burned to the ground by the unknown attackers.

We also see Rip decide to allow a stray into his home after initially being resistant. His future wife, Beth Dutton, brings the recently orphaned Carter to their house. Rip tosses the kid out before changing his mind once he learns Beth has created a bond with the young. The trio makes for an unorthodox family but it is heartwarming to see Beth and Rip open their arms for a young stranger.

We will see what’s next for Rip Wheeler but something tells me he will soon learn who attacked the Dutton family. You can just imagine what that revelation will lead to — the train station.
