‘Yellowstone’ Star Finn Little Shares Majestic Photo That Will Make You Want to Visit Montana

by Jon D. B.

Yellowstone‘s cinematography is brilliant, but Montana speaks for herself as this latest throwback from Season 4 star Finn Little shows.

“TBT: On this day last year… Sure miss the open spaces of Montana,” Little posts to Instagram Monday. Wide-open spaces, indeed. So few places are as breathtaking as the expanses of Montana. It’s something Yellowstone showcases exceptionally well, and that the cast & crew have come to love above most things in life. See for yourself:

Moreover, the young actor’s caption shows how long he was working on the show before we knew anything about it. It’s likely that he moved directly over to Montana to film Yellowstone after wrapping up production on Those Who Wish Me Dead with the creator of both, Taylor Sheridan.

Finn Little is far from alone in his love of the gorgeous state, too. Montanans are quick to express their appreciation for Finn’s fondness of their homeland.

“I’m very happy you had such a great time here :),” replies Yellowstone fan Jennifer C.

And like Little, many others from his native Australia have fallen for Montana.

“We were in Montana this time of year in 2019 and we loved it. Yellowstone NP was amazing and can’t wait to go back once the Australian borders open up again. Fell in love with Bozeman,” adds fellow Aussie Sandra on Little’s official Instagram.

Finn Little to Debut on ‘Yellowstone’ in Mysterious Season 4 Role

Yet it’s Finn’s upcoming role in Season 4 that has fans truly intrigued. We know just enough about his teenage rapscallion, Carter, to be wildly intrigued.

In Yellowstone Season 4, Carter enters as a deeply troubled teenager in need of a home, and desperately in need of guidance. Early reports describe him in the same vein as young Rip Wheeler (Kyle Red Silverstein) whom John Dutton took in as a teenager.

The one reveal that has fans reeling, however, is that Carter is to be brought up on the ranch by Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton! Does this pseudo-adoption mean Beth will finally get her chance at some form of motherhood? Will this even be good for either of them? And how in the world will Rip fit into all of this? The man has said he doesn’t even like dogs, let alone kids. Oh, the questions we have.

Thankfully, Yellowstone Season 4 is right now mere months away. We’re poised to find out more about Carter and his role with the Duttons come November 7. So get those cattle skin gloves ready, Outsiders. The series will return exclusively for Paramount Network and Paramount+. And when it does, Finn Little’s Carter will have a thing or two to show us about growing up on the Yellowstone.
