‘Yellowstone’ star Forrie J. Smith is a true cowboy at heart and it really shines through his performance on the Paramount Network series.
Smith grew up on a smaller version of “Yellowstone” Ranch, learning the ways of a real cattle ranch. As a result, his “Yellowstone” character, Lloyd Pearce, is a favorite among the show’s massive fan base. The authenticity he brings to the show as a cowboy’s cowboy is really one of the biggest highlights.
Other “Yellowstone” cast members have also spoken on how helpful Smith is with vast ranching knowledge. The same is true away from the “Yellowstone” set where Smith often gets the “rockstar” treatment at events he attends. A rodeo star in his younger years, Smith still enjoys attending rodeos from time to time. He sometimes becomes the main attraction at these events when fans recognize him from his show.
The “Yellowstone” star recently attended the National Final Rodeo and was greeted by thousands of adoring fans. As he is known to do, Forrie signed a few autographs and posed for a few photos with fans. He certainly seems to love meeting and mingling with fans as he always has a smile on his face. In his most recent social media post, Smith shares a few photos from his trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. as you’ll easily be able to tell — he loves his fans as much as they love him.
“Love my fans, love these candid photos taken last week in Texas and at the NFR in Vegas!” he says in the caption. “Here is just a glimpse of the hundreds of photos taken.”
Look at all those smiling faces. Forrie J. Smith certainly knows how to work a crowd.
‘Yellowstone’ Season Four Has Just Three More Episodes
It doesn’t seem possible, but the fourth season of “Yellowstone” is coming to an end. While we all wish that this season would last forever — the truth is there are are three more episodes left. We have to enjoy these last three in the best way we can.
While Forrie J. Smith is flourishing away from the “Yellowstone” set, his character, Lloyd, is having a rough go of it.
Lloyd has been wrapped up in a feud with fellow ranch hand, Walker, over Laramie. He’s paid the price for starting a fight in the bunkhouse with Rip Wheeler beating him down on two occasions. He took the feud to a new level in an earlier episode when he stabbed Walker in the chest.
But give Lloyd credit for trying to make amends. He bought Walker a new guitar as a “cowboy apology” and things seem to have settled for now.
We’ll see how this storyline plays out as season four hits the home stretch.
