“Yellowstone” star Forrie J. Smith says it’s about time for Season 4 to premiere.

The Lloyd actor on Thursday posted an update to his fans on his Instagram page about the just-announced “Yellowstone” Season 4 premiere date.

“This is not a drill!” Smith wrote. “Season 4 premieres November 7, 2021!!!! Sunday!! FIIINNNNAAALLLYYY!”

‘Yellowstone’ Star Poses Holding His New Oak & Eden Bourbon

In the Instagram picture, Smith leans against a wooden fence and holds a rope in one hand and a bottle of Oak & Eden bourbon in the other. So what’s the deal with the bourbon?

Smith recently rolled out his own signature bourbon as part of Oak & Eden’s Anthro Series, a collaboration with celebrities interested in liquor-making. Professional skier Kina Pickett is another participating celebrity. She worked with Oak & Eden on a 90-proof bourbon whiskey.

Smith’s bourbon is 116-proof. It’s finished with an American Oak spire steeped in cold brew coffee. Smith describes it as “a bold cowboy coffee-infused bourbon.”

But it wasn’t enough for Smith to just develop a unique bourbon for cowboys and “Yellowstone” fans alike. He made sure Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals received a cut of the profits. Shriner’s caters to children with specialized orthopedic problems, spinal cord injuries, burns, cleft lip and palate conditions. They treat patients regardless of the family’s ability to pay. The kids can get free care until they’re 18, or in some cases, 21.

Season 4 Premieres Nov. 7

“Yellowstone” is slowly offering more peeks into Season 4, beginning with the Season 4 trailer. The most recent example is the premiere date announcement.

Season 3 ended on a suspenseful note, with John Dutton (Kevin Costner) lying bloodied by the side of the road, Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) engulfed in an explosion, Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) facing a pack of intruders at his office and Jimmy Hurdstrom (Jefferson White) lying unconscious on the ground where a horse threw him. Fans were at the edge of their seats to find out if their favorite characters are going to pull through.

It’s been a bit of a punishing wait for “Yellowstone” fans, who initially expected Season 4 to premiere in June, when all three previous seasons have launched. Finally, word leaked out that Paramount Network liked November for the Season 4 premiere. Now, finally, fans know when in November.

All that’s left is to make it through the roughly two and a half months from now to then. But “Yellowstone” fans are a resourceful bunch. No doubt they’ll be re-watching episodes and taking to Reddit to debate the show’s nuances in the meantime.
