“Yellowstone” star Forrie J. Smith recently visited a few injured heroes, providing them with encouragement and positivity.
On “Yellowstone” Smith stars as the senior ranch hand, Lloyd Pearce, and is the right-hand man of Rip Wheeler. A more than capable cowboy and vocal leader, Lloyd often serves as a mentor to the younger “Yellowstone” ranch hands. He has certainly garnered a great deal of respect from his peers for cattle ranching prowess. Lloyd is more than just than “old man” inside the ranch’s bunkhouse. He’s proven time and time again that he can handle himself when the times call for action. Who can forget the third season scene where Lloyd and Rip take out several members of a motorcycle club. Those guys didn’t want any more of Lloyd after the dust settled and who could blame them. Lloyd took out a few bikers by himself before drawing his gun and pointing it at the person who had a gun pointed toward Rip.
Forrie J. Smith and Lloyd have become favorites of “Yellowstone” fans since the very first season. A big reason for that is the authenticity Smith brings to the show. Having grown up on a cattle ranch, Smith is a real deal cowboy and it shows up with every “Yellowstone” scene he is in. Some of his actual rodeo memorabilia is used to spruce up the bunkhouse and give it an authentic feel. Being a cowboy also means you take care of the people that take care of you. Smith did exactly that over the weekend, visiting a few firefighters that were injured in the September 30 explosion in Dallas, Texas.
‘Yellowstone’ Star Forrie J. Smith Spreads the Love Around
Smith spent a little time with firefighters and even brought some gifts to share.
“On Sunday, Oct. 24th I visited the Firefighters that were injured from the September 30th explosion in Dallas, Texas,” he says in the post’s caption space. On behalf of the generosity of Justin Boots they were given (gift certificates and vests) and Oak and Eden presented them with a bottle of Whiskey!”
The ‘Yellowstone’ actor then thanks the firefighters, referring to them as heroes.
“So very proud of their heroic efforts!” he says “Thank you to all firefighters who are there in times of need everywhere!”
Smith also shares a few photos of his visit with his fans and social media followers.
With a new season just around the corner, “Yellowstone” fans are excited to see what is in store for Lloyd. He ended the third season in something of a “love triangle” with Laramie and Walker. Fans would certainly love to see this storyline develop further in season four.
The new season will premiere on Sunday, Nov. 7.
