“Yellowstone” star Kelly Reilly’s living the good life while all the show’s fans are on the edge of their seats wondering what’s coming next.
Reilly only posts sporadically on social media, but she took to her Instagram Stories yesterday to share a peaceful moment with all her followers. In the brief pic (which has already vanished from her page), we see Reilly holding her adorable dog while a gorgeous lake and countryside dazzle behind her. Reilly captioned the shot, “Peacefulness” with a heart emoji.
We’re so happy to see the “Yellowstone” star enjoying these moments of quiet and happiness in between her projects. She didn’t say where she and her pup were relaxing, but Reilly has posted pictures of her and her dog on a boat in Southampton, New York, before.
It’s also ironic that Reilly captioned the post “Peacefulness” when her character Beth Dutton just brought up peace last episode. Beth was talking with her father, John Dutton, about the fact that her brother Kayce was moving out of the house for a while.
“Why do all my children have to lave to find happiness?” John asks.
“It’s because there’s no peace in this place, Dad,” Beth replies, “Never has been. It doesn’t bother you or Kayce because you aren’t peaceful men. Guess I’m not peaceful either.”
She raises a fair point. Life on the ranch has certainly been stressful in the four seasons of “Yellowstone” we’ve seen so far. Someone’s always trying to usurp the Duttons and take them out for greedy or selfish purposes. We’ve seen John, Beth, and Kayce weather these attacks, but will Tate give up the peace in his life to take on the responsibilities of the ranch?
Beth Dutton Faces New Threat in Caroline Warner on ‘Yellowstone’
On last week’s episode of “Yellowstone,” Beth Dutton attended a meeting with none other than Caroline Warner, CEO of Market Equities. Although Beth compares Caroline to the old boss, Caroline quickly corrects that notion.
“I came up at a time when the corporate ladder was greased to keep women off it,” Caroline tells her. “I climbed it anyway, stepping over some little b—h like you on every rung.”
Caroline’s struggles in the corporate world are likely no exaggeration. Women like her paved the way for women like Beth. And although we appreciate Beth’s scathing personality, Caroline has experience and challenges she’s overcome that give her a leg up on Beth.
But Caroline doesn’t want to obliterate Beth just yet. She offers Beth a way to work with her instead, at Market Equities. If Beth accepts, she’ll have an inside look at the company trying to take down her father. Rejecting the offer means fighting for her job, her family’s home, and her financial success for years.
Which will Beth choose? We’ll find out next Sunday when “Yellowstone” airs on the Paramount Network.
