We are just hours away from a brand new season of “Yellowstone” and the show’s cast is teasing excitement in recent interviews.
“Yellowstone” stars have been quiet ever since the third season came to a shocking conclusion. Now, with the big day coming tomorrow (Sunday) a few cast members are opening about what we can expect. Wes Bentley, Gil Birmingham and Kelsey Asbille are among the “Yellowstone” stars who are diving deeper into season four. Asbille, who plays Monica Dutton, on the show had some very interesting things to say about the fourth season. A common theme among season four descriptions from the cast is that we can expect a ton of action. More than a few “Yellowstone” actors have said fans will want to buckle up for the first episode.
Kelsey Asbille is expected to play a big role in the fourth season as Monica Dutton could be getting more screen time. One thing we have seen over three seasons is that Monica Dutton is extremely proud of her Native American Heritage. In a recent interview, Asbille says she is also proud of the way Native Americans are portrayed on “Yellowstone.”
“Something that I love about this season is that Tate is really struggling after the attack and also with the burden of being a Dutton,” she says. “And so Monica really looks to her people and her culture as a way of healing. I think there are some really beautiful moments in this season, especially with Gil and Mo. I really love that we are diving back into that world. I think ‘Yellowstone’ does a great job with kind of breaking out o the mold of the western and highlights contemporary struggles. I am really proud of it.”
‘Yellowstone’ Star Kelsey Asbille Tells Fans to Buckle Up
“Yellowstone” stars have said season four will start off with a bang. Season four action expects to pick up right where the previous season left off. The third season finale was epic and considered one the best cliffhangers in television history. Asbille says the show’s fourth season cliffhanger is its best ever. In something of a surprise, she also says the season four cliffhanger will center on Monica and Kayce Dutton — or at least the couple will be a big part of it.
“The end of this season for Kayce and Monica — I think it’s the biggest cliffhanger they’ve had so far,” she says.
Asked to sum up the new season with just one word, Asbille gave an answer that will surely excite “Yellowstone” fans.
“Unexpected,” she says after gathering her thoughts.
