Hassie Harrison, in a post to Instagram, talks about how cool it is getting on set in Montana for Yellowstone. For her first time filming in Montana, it’s safe to say that Harrison is in awe of the state.

“When you first walk up to that barn and see it with the epic mountains all in the background, it’s pretty amazing. It’s one of those things, you know you always hear actors say, ‘It’s so much easier to be in character when you have the full getup and wardrobe, but like, I was a fan of the show before that. So walking up and seeing the Yellowstone barn and everything, I was like, this is it. This is so legit.’

Natural beauty is abound in the state of Montana. But Harrison takes note of its inspiring features in her post.

In her post, Harrison talks about how incredible the surrounding mountains and plains are. Indeed, the Bitterroot Mountain range is stunning. The barn on set alone is gorgeous, let alone everything surrounding the place.

Harrison continues by saying that it’s so much easier to get into character in a true ranch setting. Indeed, the scenery and ranch are incredibly “legit.”

Harrison In Montana

Continuing on how cool Montana is, Harrison talks about how cohesive the cast is while they film there. While she mentions that there isn’t as much to do when they finish filming, she does say they have arguably more fun.

However, while she and the cast are in Montana they hang around the fire and enjoy each other’s company. Hanging around a fire brings them all together and inspires friendships to blossom.

Wide Open Country talks about the origins of the show and tells the avid fan base where everything is filming.

“The setting for the family ranch is Montana’s Chief Joseph Ranch in Darby, Montana. Though the ranch is currently booked with guests and film crews, the owners will begin welcoming new guests in the Spring of 2021.”

As Harrison mentions, the ranch is astounding. Additionally, anyone who can go visit the place where the ranch house scenes are set, should certainly do so.

In addition, Harrison’s character, Laramie is set to return for Season 4 of Yellowstone. Undoubtedly a fan favorite of Season 3, fans eagerly await her character development.
