Alright, Yellowstone fans. We now approach a question that some Outsiders may have asked themselves. Are the Duttons good or bad?

Seriously. Are the family members, all of them, good or bad people?

We know there is one place that this can be hashed out. Ready? We have a Yellowstone thread from Reddit.

It is titled “Understand something about this Show”.

Here’s what one Redditor wrote to start us off.

“I see many of us complaining about the illogical nature of a couple of the storylines here and in many cases I couldn’t agree more,” this person writes. “But do understand that the Duttons are no more good and no more bad than any of the antagonists in this show.

‘Yellowstone’ Fan Reminds Others About How Some View Dutton Family

“It’s a dog-eat-dog world and not everything has to make sense when the Duttons are as terrible as their enemies sometimes,” the Redditor says. “Remember, just because they are the protagonists it doesn’t mean they are good. The only person that may be innocent in this show is Kaycee [sic] but even that may be in question.”

This person is referring to Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes. Other high-profile Dutton family members include John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner; Beth Dutton, played by Kelly Reilly; Jamie Dutton, played by Wes Bentley; and Monica Dutton, Kayce’s wife, played by Kelsey Asbille. Also, Rip Wheeler, Beth’s husband, played by Cole Hauser.

Throw in some ranch-hands from the bunkhouse, too. People like Lloyd Pierce, played by Forrie J. Smith, and Walker, played by Ryan Bingham. Sure, they are not Yellowstone Dutton family members directly.

Um, we do have a reply from another Redditor on the thread. This is that person’s response.

Ready? “Yawwwwwnnnnn. . . .”

And that wraps up this conversation about Yellowstone good guys or bad guys among the Duttons. For now.

Fan Offers Up Pointed Thoughts About Rip and Beth’s Wedding

As we all saw on the Season 4 season finale, Beth and Rip tied the knot in a hurry-up ceremony.

Heck, Beth even kidnapped a Catholic priest to get the job done.

John was taken aback when he found out that the priest was snagged by her.

What does one fan have to say about the Yellowstone marriage?

“I am disgusted by the Duttons,” a Reddit thread begins. “Especially during that trashy wedding that John participated in. Let me not even start about the disgust I felt towards Beth when she rejected the kid for calling her mom. Plus the skimpy clothing during her wedding with that Stockholm syndrome inflicted wimp Wissel who thinks he is a tough guy.”

That kid is Carter, played by Finn Little. Well, Season 5 is coming later on in 2022.
