“Yellowstone” actor Cole Hauser is keeping busy these days, but never so busy that he can’t make time to sit down and watch his favorite movies.

After a 29-episode stint as Rip Wheeler on “Yellowstone,” Hauser has now turned his attention back to making films. The former “Good Will Hunting” and “2 Fast 2 Furious” star will now be the lead in upcoming movies “Panama” and “Yolo County O.G.” But when he’s not making movies, what kind does he like to watch in his free time?

That was the question posed by one curious fan in a recent interview. The “Yellowstone” star sat down with Kathryn Hall on Hall Wines’ Virtual Happy Hour to take questions from fans.

“You know what, I watch a lot of documentaries,” Hauser answered. “I feel like my wife and I, we’ve kinda worn out Netflix over the last year. We’re on HBO Max, and we’re on Hulu, but we’re a big documentary family.”

The “Yellowstone” veteran doesn’t have a specific type of documentary that he likes, so long as he’s learning “as much as we can learn.”

“Obviously, a lot has been about the pandemic and about social and racial equality,” Hauser said. “But also athletes, great artists, adventure stuff. I’m constantly trying to make sure that I can learn about different aspects of people’s lives around the world. So, I love documentaries. So, I have not watched a lot of shows lately.”

Host Kathryn Hall commented that several documentaries today are also entertaining. The “Yellowstone” actor agreed, but said, “And I want to learn something while I’m doing it.”

‘Yellowstone’ Actor Cole Hauser Remembers Valuable Lesson From Great-Grandfather

Cole Hauser is in fact the great-grandson of Harry Warner (co-founder of Warner Bros.). While discussing entertainment vs. education with host Kathryn Hall on Hall Wines’ Virtual Happy Hour, he recalled a specific lesson he learned from the entertainment icon.

“My great-grandfather had this [motto] that was inscribed at Warner Bros. It was ‘Educate, Enlighten, and Entertain,'” the “Yellowstone” actor recalls. “And if you can do that three E’s, you know as far as the business is concerned, then you’ve done your job.”

When Will We See Season 4 of the Hit Show?

Recently, Paramount Network released a trailer for the upcoming season of “Yellowstone.” Fans were left on a breathtaking cliffhanger at the end of season three, and they’re ready to see how the Dutton family will take their revenge in the new season.

According to Deadline, the network will likely release season four around November. It’s the perfect window for high-end television shows to premiere, and it also coincidences with the NFL season. “Yellowstone” could be promoted all over CBS’ football broadcasts.
