Fans of hit Paramount Network show “Yellowstone” are on the edge of their seats awaiting the show’s return.
The modern western television show will begin its fourth season later this year, expected to start over the summer. With season three ending on a fantastic cliffhanger, fans of the show want to know whose dead or not.
One character that we know is alive is Yellowstone Ranch Foreman and all-around tough guy Rip Wheeler. Played admirably by actor Cole Hauser, Rip serves as an enforcer of sorts for the Dutton family. Hauser recently took to social media to share a photo that confirms Rip is alive and well. The photo was taken by Jefferson White, who plays ranch hand Jimmy on the show.
“Through the eye of Jefferson White,” Hauser writes in the caption space. “Behind the scenes.”
The gritty, black and white photo shows an angry-looking Rip in the Yellowstone bunkhouse with an unknown person in front of him. Due to the events of season three, you can bet that Rip is indeed angry and will be looking for some payback.
Hauser has more than 420,000 followers on Instagram and his Wednesday post did well, collecting more than 12,000 “likes” only an hour after it went live on Instagram. Many fans took to the comments section to express their excitement over the upcoming season.
Yellowstone Returning With Many Questions to Answer
The fate of prominent Montana ranching family, the Duttons, is unknown as we enter the fourth the season.
Family patriarch John Dutton was last seen taking bullets to the chest. John’s son, Kayce Dutton, was also under ambush in the final episode. He was last seen flipping over a desk to shield himself from oncoming fire from an unknown ambusher. Beth Dutton, Rip’s love interest and John’s daughter, was victim of a package bomb exploding in her office.
While the status of the Duttons isn’t known, it is a sure bet that the highly capable Rip will be looking to avenge the attack on the family that he is fiercely loyal to.
