‘Yellowstone’ TV: Co-Creator Taylor Sheridan to be Inducted into Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame

Congratulations are in order for Taylor Sheridan. The horse enthusiast and co-creator of “Yellowstone” is set to receive a big Texas honor.

According to the Quarter Horse News, Sheridan will be joining the 2021 Hall of Fame class. The Texas native’s known for the hit TV show, “Yellowstone.” His resume also includes acting, directing as well as screenwriting.

Some of his other projects include “Sicario”, “Hell Or High Water” and “Wind River.” Just last year he produced a reality show “The Last Cowboy.” The series documented several reining trainers, their owners, and their families. It follows how they prepared for the first-ever million-dollar invitational. The horse show Run For A Million was held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sheridan Receives ‘Yellowstone’ Praise

The official Twitter account for “Yellowstone” took to social media to show their support for the co-creator, as well.

They sent out a tweet reading, “Congratulations to Taylor Sheridan! #YellowstoneTV

Taylor Sheridan Love for Showing Horses

Sheridan doesn’t only write about the western way of life. He also lives it. The Texan has been competing in reining and cutting. As a matter of fact, he owns a high-profile reined cow horse named, Kreyzy Horse.

Sheridan is emceeing an event for the National Cutting Horse Association Foundation next month. In addition, he and his wife, Nicole, are going to serve as honorary chairpersons for the second year in a row at the Careity Celebrity Cutting.

Texas Hall of Fame Ceremony Details

Sheridan will be joining racing Quarter Horse breeder Bobby Cox, Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame founder Bobby Kerr, Western apparel businessman Keith Maddox. Additionally, rodeo couple Stran and Jennifer Smith are receiving honors as well. The 2021 Spirit of Texas Award Recipient will be country music artist Bob Wills.

The induction ceremony is going to be on March 4, 2021. The event will take place at Billy Bob’s Texas found at the legendary Fort Worth Stockyards.
