With the fourth season of Paramount Network’s hit series “Yellowstone” now in sight, fans are ramping up their speculation efforts.
“Yellowstone” fans simply cannot get enough of the modern western goodness that comes with the show. With the show currently on an extended hiatus, fans are turning to various internet sites for a taste of the cowboy culture. Watchers of the show love to speculate and theorize on the futures of their favorite characters and storylines. Fans will dig through previous episodes in search of clues that might lead them to new discoveries. Recently, “Yellowstone” clue hunters think they have found a social media post that reveals the future of a prominent character.
Since his introduction in the very first episode of the very first season, reluctant Yellowstone ranch hand Jimmy Hurdstrom has won the hearts of fans. Jimmy’s storylines have been some of the show’s best moments as he’s found love and family on the ranch. He also found his way onto a bucking horse at the end of season three. Despite the warnings of his boss, John Dutton, Jimmy appears to want to keep on working the rodeo. His reason for doing so is pretty simple — his girlfriend, Mia, wants him to. The crazy things we must do for love put Jimmy on the back of a wild stallion.
The last image we see of Jimmy in the third season is of him lying face down in the dirt after falling off the horse. His eyes are closed as he lies motionless on the ground. “Yellowstone” watchers are left to wonder if Jimmy survives or perishes from the fall. We are also left to wonder if Jimmy, played by Jefferson White, will be back for the fourth season.
‘Yellowstone’ Fans Find Clue on Social Media
Fans believe the Instagram page of Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler, provides an essential clue. Hauser uses social media to share an image of the bunkhouse crew on horseback. One member of this crew is missing from this social media post.
“Time to go to work,” Hauser writes in the social media post. The photo is from when filming for the fourth season began.
A glance at the post, which appears on Hauser’s page 38 weeks ago, shows the “Yellowstone” ranch hands heading out for work. We see Colby, Teeter and Lloyd along with the rest of the bunkhouse crew. There’s no Jimmy to be found in the pic though. Is this a signal that his time on the show has come to an end? It certainly could be.
It is important to note that this image does guarantee Jimmy’s absence from season four. He could have just been on a lunch break or something that required him to miss the photo. Read into it what you will “Yellowstone” fans.
With season four arriving this fall, the wait for answers is coming to an end.
