Hit Paramount Network series Yellowstone is preparing to make its triumphant return to our televisions and our hearts this summer.

Yellowstone producers have yet to reveal an official premiere date but it is likely to occur in the month of June. Until then Yellowstone fans are entertaining themselves by sharing their thoughts with their fellow modern western fans. Online communities, like Reddit, have become the spot to be for the hardcore Yellowstone faithful to commune.

Along with theories and speculation fans also seek feedback on parts of the show that seem to lack correlation. Though it is one of the most-watched shows on television today, Yellowstone isn’t without flaws. A recent Reddit thread sees a fan sounding off on some inconsistencies within the show. The post starter particularly has a gripe about the weather on Yellowstone Ranch of all things.

“The thing I truly don’t understand, and I don’t see anyone asking, is the complete change in weather,” the Reddit user proclaims. “An episode starts with them battening down the hatches and Kayce talking about how much he hates winter. The next morning/episode it’s summertime…wtf?”

‘Yellowstone’ Fans Discuss the Weather

Responding posters say drastic changes in weather are a pretty common thing that Montana residents have to deal with. As Yellowstone Ranch resides in Montana, frequent shifts in temperature make the show even more realistic. A fellow fan residing in the northeast state points out the ever-changing weather is nothing new to Montana natives.

“I live in southern Alberta and it pretty much is like that lol,” a responding Reddit user says. “We get crazy snowstorms and then Chinook winds and plus 15 (degree) temps to melt the snow. Winter coat to t-shirts within hours. So not saying that it isn’t weird seeing the weather discrepancies in Yellowstone. It’s glaringly obvious, but that kind of is the weather around here.”

While most Yellowstone fans could care less what the Montana weather is doing, the fates of the Dutton family are a different story. Season three went out with a bang, quite literally, with the ranch owners coming under siege. There is a lot of mystery regarding the upcoming season, but the status of the Dutton clan tops that list.

Once we learn who is dead, alive or injured among the Duttons, the storyline will likely focus on finding the culprits. You would have to believe revenge will be very much on the minds of the Yellowstone crew.
