To say fans of the hit television show “Yellowstone” are craving new episodes would be a vast understatement.

The wait is on for followers of the Paramount Network modern western drama with a new season on its way. Though an exact date for its return has yet to be revealed, show officials say they are aiming for a summer start. Much of the speculation regarding season four’s debut points to the month of June as a potential beginning.

As they wait, some more patiently than others, fans have taken to online message boards to discuss the show. Internet message board communities, like Reddit, have entire forums dedicated to nothing but “Yellowstone” talk. Threads regarding “Yellowstone” are full of theories, speculation, and reviews of previous seasons and specific episodes.

A recent Reddit thread aims to poke a little fun at “Yellowstone” characters and their sometimes predictable behavior. The post begins with a “spec script” and encourages other fans to play along.

‘Yellowstone’ Fans Humorously Mock Favorite Characters

The results of the post are quite hilarious as it makes humor out of the show’s stereotyped characters. The first part of the spec script makes fun of John and Kayce Dutton’s tendencies and western style of life. Here is an example of the thread mocking a conversation between the father and son:

John Dutton: “A man’s word is likes his land. Without it, he is no man at all.”

Kayce Dutton: “I reckon all I know is killin’ and hats.”

The thread goes on to humorously mock other “Yellowstone” characters like Monica Dutton, Beth Dutton, and ranch hand Jimmy.

While some fans are making light of “Yellowstone “overtones, they also take the show seriously when necessary. As a matter of fact, many fans are digging through previous episodes and cast interviews in an attempt to figure out what will take place in season four.

“Yellowstone” took fans to the edge of their seats and left them there with the season three finale. As many as four main characters could be dead as we head to the next season. The Dutton family came under attack from unknown ambushers in the cliffhanging finale of the previous season. The fates of John, Kayce, and Beth are very unclear at this point as it is plausible that all three perished in the last episode. Then there is poor Jimmy who lies unconscious on the ground after being thrown off of a wild horse at season’s end.

There are certainly a lot of questions surrounding season four of “Yellowstone.” However, fans won’t have to wait much longer with the new season drawing near.
