A slew of new actors will be joining the cast of the hit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” as the show moves into its fourth season.

Popular television shows are always gaining new characters as time progresses and the number of episodes climbs higher. The same is also true for “Yellowstone” and the appearance of new characters is sure to add intrigue to various storylines. One of the most interesting new characters in the upcoming brand new season will be played by Piper Perabo. You might know Perabo from her work in “Coyote Ugly,” “The Prestige” and “Looper” among many other films and television shows.

We don’t know a ton about Perabo’s “Yellowstone” character as of yet but that will soon change. What we do know is that she will be playing an environmentalist named Summer Higgins. A recently released photo shows Higgins in handcuffs and being led away by a law enforcement officer. It is believed Parabo’s character is protesting industrial farming in the state of Montana. If this is correct you also would have to think this will put her in direct conflict with “Yellowstone. She is also likely to be at odds with the Dutton family, owners of one of the ranch. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Perabo was unable to give away much detail about her character but says she is pleased to join the “Yellowstone” cast. She also makes mention of one of the show’s most mysterious and popular storylines.

“When John Dutton or Rip Wheeler want to get rid of people, they talk about taking them to the train station,” Perabo says. “I don’t want to be taken to the train station!”

‘Yellowstone’ Newcomer Mentions Train Station

It is interesting that the new “Yellowstone” actress mentions the “train station” in her recent interview. As every “Yellowstone” fan knows, there is no train station at the end of that trip. No, taking someone to the train station is code for killing them and disposing of the body. Could the 44-year-old actress be hinting that her character is destined for a trip to the train station? It would surprise no one to see a few train station trips in season four.

While Summer might be a thorn in the side of the Dutton family in season four, they have much else to worry about. Tops on their season four list is to figure out who attacked them in the third season finale. There’s no shortage of suspects with motivations to take the prominent ranching family out. Could a newcomer like Piper Perabo’s Summer Wiggins somehow be involved in the plot? This is “Yellowstone” we are talking about here so nothing should be ruled out.

“Yellowstone” will make its return later this year on November 7.
