Yellowstone‘s own Thomas Rainwater, actor Gil Birmingham, has some stunning shots of New South Wales’ Bronte Beach.

For Yellowstone fans, few performances can top that of Gil Birmingham as Broken Rock patriarch Thomas Rainwater. Many of the show’s best lines come courtesy of Rainwater (which we’ll get into below). But first, the actor’s latest real-life exploits are absolutely worth checking out.

“Hey kids, I have been very blessed to have traveled a bit this year to some incredible locations and thought I’d share some of my adventures with you,” posts the Yellowstone Icon to his official Instagram Thursday.

“Here’s a collage of Bronte Beach NSW Australia. Beautiful country,” Birmingham offers. His images deliver, too, as you can see below. Within the actor shares morning, evening, and night shots of Bronte Beach in a collage. Beautiful, indeed!

A popular tourist destination, New South Wales’ Bronte Beach lies east of Sydney, Australia’s city center. There, famous long-distance ocean events are held every December, between Bronte and nearby Bondi Beach.

Bronte boasts gorgeous shore and resorts, but also breathtaking rocky cliffs. There’s even a 30-metre ocean pool, which is one of Sydney’s best known swimming spots. Pair this with the areas lauded cafes, and you have the recipe for a terrific Australian holiday. And Gil Birmingham’s Instagram post confirms it!

Gil Birmingham is ‘Yellowstone’ at its Best

All in all, it’s great to know Birmingham is enjoying his year. But it’s time to get back to work! We’re excited for his return as Thomas Rainwater in Yellowstone Season 4, as well, to say the least.

While we wait, it’s always worth revisiting some of the show’s best lines – many of which come directly from his iconic character, Thomas Rainwater. We’ve listed a few of our favorites below, but there’s a far more exhaustive look at Rainwater’s dialogue right here.

“Our first fight is against being ignored.”

Thomas Rainwater on the fate of his Native American peoples.

“Senator, you’ve never driven the roads, and walked a trail, or skied a mountain in Montana that didn’t belong to my people first… This nation doesn’t want to give it back? So be it. We’ll buy it back. With their money.”

“All men are bad. But some of us try real hard to be good.”

Rainwater to Kayce Dutton, Yellowstone

“I’m going to buy your ranch first – right after you die. And I’m going to pull down every fence, and any evidence that your family ever existed will be removed from the property – and it’ll look like it used to. When it was ours.

Rainwater to John Dutton

Your people’ don’t know the concept of victim.”

Rainwater to John Dutton

“It’s always the innocent who pay most dearly for the things we men do.”
