‘Yellowstone’ TV: ‘Jimmy’ Actor Jefferson White Posts Stunning Behind the Scenes Pic Featuring Denim Richards

Jefferson White isn’t only a talented actor that plays the misfit cowboy Jimmy on “Yellowstone.” White is a talented photographer that likes to dabble in film photographs as a hobby.

His latest development, and post to Instagram, features his fellow cowboy co-star, Denim Richards. Richards plays Colby, who’s one of the bunkhouse boys and wranglers on the Dutton ranch.

“Denim on 35mm. Behind the scenes of @yellowstone Season 3,” White captions the photo.

White capture Richards in full cowboy regalia – chaps, denim work jacket, and cowboy hat. He’s sitting on a wooden fence, next to a saddled horse. It looks as if White just pulled out his camera and snapped Richards mid-scene. It’s not like Denim posed for the photo, meaning the pic looks authentic and not staged.

Fans of “Yellowstone” and Jefferson White’s fill the comments with their appreciation for the post.

“Such a good eye behind the lens!!” and “Looking good!! great model, great horse, amazing photographer!!!” are just two of the comments commenting on White’s photography skills.

“35mm makes everyone look so ‘cool’ lol. Love these, Jefferson!” writes one person. “Thanks for sharing all your beautiful BTS shots!” shares another.

Jefferson White’s Hobby

When White isn’t horseback for one of “Yellowstone’s” scenes or getting picked on by the bunkhouse boys (and Teeter), White is walking around with a 35mm camera.

This isn’t something new the “Yellowstone” actor has picked up. As a matter of fact, if you scroll back to White’s been practicing this lost art of film photography for some time now. We might be biased, but some of his best photos come from behind the scenes of “Yellowstone.” Not only does White work with photogenic people, but the landscape sits there, begging to be photographed.

What we love about White’s photographs is that they don’t seem contrived. The actor happens to be in the right place at the right time, to freeze one frame on his film, and make it forever last a moment in history.

White on His Character, Jimmy, in Season 4

The final of season 3 left many questions unanswered, as well as many lives hanging in the balance. Jimmy’s employer and his family get attacked. Plus Jimmy listens to his girlfriend, Mia (Eden Brolin) about rodeoing and tries to get back on a horse, even after he promised John Dutton (Kevin Costner) that he wouldn’t.

So where does that leave Jimmy? Facedown in the dirt, unconscious. What does that mean for White’s character in the fourth season? Well, the actor remains tight-lipped on the next installment that’s coming this June.

But what White does say is, “It’s incredible. I think Season 4 is the best season yet.” White continues via Cinema Blend, “We shot it all in Montana, and that really has a transformative effect. I really think it’s an incredible season. Season 3 had a kind of slow-burn pace to it. It was like a slow, simmering build to that finale, which obviously had such a climactic explosion leaving so many of the Duttons in danger, and Season 4 just starts out at this breakneck pace. The first episode of Season 4 is my favorite episode of the show yet, so I just can’t wait for people to see it.”
