Kevin Costner’s “Yellowstone” co-star Cole Hauser is being touted as one of the “Sexiest Men Alive” by People magazine. Costner, 65, is letting Hauser know exactly how he feels about the news.
On Monday, Costner took to social media to post a hilarious GIF from the Paramount Network series. The brief clip shows Costner’s John Dutton saying the phrase: “You son of a b—h.”
Costner posted the GIF along with a link to the original People story in which Hauser opens up about his life in addition to his work on “Yellowstone.”
Cole Hauser on ‘Yellowstone’ and Family Life
While filming the upcoming fourth season of “Yellowstone,” Hauser reveals that he spent months away from his wife and children. His wife’s name is Cynthia. Their three children are Ryland, 16, Colt, 12, and Steely, 7.
“It’s been a little rough over the last couple of years just because I’m away for five months at a time. It’s not easy to parent from afar,” Hauser tells People. “Steely is an absolute pistol, and they’re great boys. When I’m away they kind of take over, making sure that mom and Steely are watched over. That’s how I raised them and I’m proud of them for that.”
Even though being away from family presents its challenges for Hauser, he says living in Montana for months at a time definitely has its perks.
“My favorite time of day is sunset and sunrise. Especially up here,” he said. “I don’t know if you can see these mountains behind us, but the sun basically comes right over this and over the Yellowstone ranch. And it goes right behind these mountains here into Trapper Peak. And it’s just to die for. I mean, the magic hour here is just stunning.”
His Next Project
Earlier this month, Hauser wrapped filming on “Yellowstone” S4. Shortly thereafter, he went straight on to his next project with Mel Gibson, “Panama.” Learn more about the project here.
