‘Yellowstone’ TV: Lloyd Actor Forrie J. Smith Drops Series of Pics Showing Items He Signed for Fans

by Thad Mitchell

When it comes to the Paramount Network series “Yellowstone,” you will find ranch hand Lloyd near the top of fan favorites.

Veteran actor Forrie J. Smith is the man behind Lloyd Pearce, the senior statesman of the “Yellowstone” bunkhouse crew. Older and wiser than most all of his fellow cowboys, Lloyd is a mentor of sorts to the younger hands. He is especially fond of rookie ranch hand Jimmy, taking the youngster under his wing. Lloyd is also the right-hand man of ranch foreman and Dutton family enforcer Rip Wheeler.

Rip trusts Lloyd far above the other bunkhouse boys and often assigns Lloyd to handle some of his dirty work. In the first season of “Yellowstone,” we see just how much Rip trusts Lloyd. He gives Lloyd the assignment of taking trouble-making ranch hand Fred to the “Train Station” after Fred roughs up Jimmy. As every “Yellowstone” fan knows, there is no actual train station at the end of this trip. Taking someone to the train station is code for killing them and disposing of the body.

For his work as Lloyd, Smith’s popularity continues to grow with a new season quickly approaching. One of the sources of his popularity is the authenticity he brings to “Yellowstone” episodes. He grew up on a cattle ranch and is a real deal cowboy through and through. The rising star recently took to social media to share some encounters he’s had with “Yellowstone” fans. It is clear to see that the show’s fan base truly adores Forrie J. Smith by the post.

‘Yellowstone’ Star Interacts With Fans

“Things I signed at Cattle U in Dodge City, Kansas,” he writes in the post’s caption space. “There were certainly lots of Yellowstone fans in Kansas!”

Along with the caption, Smith includes three photos of “Yellowstone” items that he signed while attending the event. The first is a picture of him and co-star Hassie Harrison, who plays Laramie on the show.

“Thank God for Buckle Bunnies,” he humorously writes on the photo.

He also signed a Yellowstone t-shirt for a lady fan and took a photo with her as well. Several “Yellowstone” fans took to the comments section of the post to thank Smith for his appearance.

“Yellowstone” fans are eager to see what the upcoming fourth season holds for Lloyd and the bunkhouse crew. You have to think they will not be happy with the attack on their boss, John Dutton. We could see Rip and Lloyd round up up the bunkhouse crew and seek revenge on the attackers.

Another storyline that could be a part of the new season is the unusual love triangle that Lloyd, Laramie and Walker find themselves in.

With season four coming this fall, the wait for answers is growing shorter by the day.
