‘Yellowstone’ TV: ‘Monica’ Actress Kelsey Asbille Only Has 1 Post on Instagram, and Fans Love It

by Katie Maloney

When you’re a super cool TV star, you don’t need more than one post on Instagram. As proven by Yellowstone actress, Kelsey Asbille.

Kelsey Asbille, who plays Monica on Yellowstone, hasn’t taken the traditional celebrity social media path. Although she still has 156 thousand followers, she doesn’t feel the need to entertain them with anything more than one simple post. That’s right. Kelsey only has one post on Instagram. And it’s pretty hilarious.

The video features a man walking into a room wearing sunglasses. As he enters he says, “Alright, I have something serious to say.” Then he removes his sunglasses as if he’s about to drop some serious wisdom, only to reveal that he’s wearing a second pair of sunglasses underneath the first.

Monica From Yellowstone Uses Her Social Media To Support Fundraisers

With only one post, it doesn’t seem like Yellowstone‘s Monica is very active on the ‘gram. However, she’s still found a super cool way to use the platform to give benefit others. Underneath her name in her Instagram bio, Kelsey includes only one link.

The link is to a fundraising page for the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center. How cool is that? According to the organization’s page, they are “a Native-led nonprofit organization dedicated to ending violence against Native women and children. We provide national leadership in ending gender-based violence in Tribal communities by lifting up the collective voices of grassroots advocates and offering culturally grounded resources, technical assistance and training, and policy development to strengthen tribal sovereignty.”

Both on and off the Yellowstone set, Kelsey is finding ways to advocate for Native communities. However, this isn’t the first time the cast has found ways to give back to local communities.

Most recently, the show’s creator Taylor Sheridan teamed up with Cariety, a Texas nonprofit charity. The charity held an auction this month to help people who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families. So, what did the team offer to the auction? Participants could bid on Beth Dutton’s coat, a luxury stay at the Yellowstone ranch, a signed photo from the cast. But, perhaps, the most exciting item up for auction was a chance to have a beer with Yellowstone Ranch Hand, Rip Wheeler. Oooh, Beth would be jealous!
