As Yellowstone fans wait patiently, or impatiently in some cases, for season four to arrive, news regarding season five has emerged.

In a recent social media post, the Chief Joseph Ranch, Yellowstone’s primary set, says filming for a new season has been delayed. The post doesn’t get into specifics but makes clear that filming for a fifth season will be pushed back. A popular tourist attraction since the series began, Chief Joseph Ranch is looking to capitalize on the filming delay. The Wednesday morning Instagram post says the ranch will be open to guests in the near future. Spending a little time on Yellowstone Ranch is sure to be enticing to the show’s massive and still growing fan base.

“Looking for summer plans?” the post asks the caption next to a photo of the property. “Paramount recently announced that filming for the Yellowstone is pushed back until Fall 2021. This announcement allows for guest cabin rentals starting in mid-June through September 2021. Visit the link in our bio for more information regarding our cabins and rentals!”

It’s a smart move by Chief Joseph Ranch owners to cash in on the Yellowstone filming delay. While it may be good news for the ranch, Yellowstone watchers are wondering just what the heck is going on.

Yellowstone Fan Eager for Season Four to Begin

Frustration is beginning to appear within the Yellowstone fan base as we have little to no information on the new season. The show’s producers have said to expect a premiere sometime in June and not much else. With five days remaining until the calendar officially flips to June, we are still waiting. Some fans used the comments section of the Instagram post to vent their frustration regarding the lack of information.

“Dang it! I wish they’d make up their mind,” a Yellowstone fan says. “It’s too late to recoup my original date now.”

All three Yellowstone seasons have premiered on Father’s Day, which falls on June 20 this year. We don’t know if that will be this season’s start date but it is one to keep your eye on.

While we wait for the new season to start, fans are elated that it appears there will be a season five for Yellowstone.

There are plenty of questions that need answers as season four approaches. Chief among those is just when will the season start.

Hang in there Yellowstone fans — good things come to those who wait.
