‘Yellowstone’ TV Shows Rip Wheeler Baring It All to Beth in All-Time Favorite Clip: ‘My Tomorrows Are Yours’

by Jennifer Shea

“Yellowstone” fans will definitely remember the scene that the show’s official Twitter account tweeted out on Monday. It’s the one in which Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) tells Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) that he’s in it for the long haul.

“I look at every day with you as a gift,” Rip tells Beth. “My tomorrows are – well, they’re all yours.”

“This speech is everything,” the @Yellowstone Twitter account tweeted.

‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 Is Almost Upon Us

After the Season 3 finale, fans had to wonder whether those moments of happiness that Beth and Rip found in Season 3 will be cruelly snatched away in Season 4. As the season ended, a bomb tore through Beth’s office. Then Rip’s fiancée disappeared into a cloud of smoke and flames.

Will Beth survive to give Market Equities hell in Season 4? Or will this latest threat prove to be too much for the thus far invincible couple?

Fans will have to wait for the Season 4 premiere to find out. And according to the Chief Joseph Ranch, the real-world setting for the fictional Dutton ranch, that should be happening sometime in June. No word yet on a specific date.

Will Beth and Rip Find Happiness?

After three seasons of getting together only to fall apart, Beth and Rip finally made the leap to an engagement in Season 3. And it seemed like “Yellowstone” might finally let them settle down for their happy ending. But now it’s all looking a bit too easy. Will series co-creator Taylor Sheridan inflict more tragedy on their love story?

In an interview with Esquire last summer, Hauser held out hope for the two characters. But he admitted he hasn’t explicitly talked to Sheridan about the couple’s fate.

“Absolutely,” Hauser said of whether or not Beth and Rip have a chance. “I think that world is starting to open up… We’ll see where Taylor takes us. I don’t sit with him and say, ‘Hey, by year seven, are we here or there?’ That relationship, it could go many different ways, but I think it could go in the way of us being together.”

As for Reilly, she sounds somewhat less optimistic. In a February 2021 interview with Screen Rant, the actress wouldn’t even confirm that Beth returns for Season 4, which leaves open the possibility that Rip will see his fiancée die before they have a chance to get married.

“I’m not allowed to really say too much about whether or not I’m part of Season 4,” Reilly said. “In fact, I’m not allowed to say anything. But what I can say is that Season 4 has been shot, and that it’s wonderful what happens. I will say that. It’s really mind-blowing and big and extravagant, and Taylor Sheridan came back. He writes every script, and he directed a bunch of them again, so I know it’s bigger than ever.”

Whether Sheridan is willing to kill off a fan favorite so early in the series remains to be seen. He’s said he could imagine “Yellowstone” running for at least six seasons, which leaves ample time for tragedy, if that’s what he has in mind. Fans can only wait for the Season 4 premiere and hope Sheridan is as attached to the characters as they are.
