But Costner offered his thoughts on the season-opening trailer that was released on Thursday.
“I don’t know if you’re ready for this one,” Costner captioned the trailer that appeared on his official Instagram account. He hashtagged his post this way: “#everybodypays.”
The trailer looks pretty good, doesn’t it? Lots of action and intrigue to keep fans busy buzzing about the show’s fourth season before its premiere.
It’s also showing a full-on assault on the Dutton ranch for “Yellowstone” to kick off a busy season.
Lloyd Pierce (Forrie J. Smith) is shown warning Kayce’s wife Monica and son Tate to “get to the bunkhouse.” He’s off with a gun in hand, but later we see him get a punch to the face and fall down.
Monica is shown later gazing around the ranch in fear. She looks toward the bunkhouse but a man in a clown mask drags her away.
The trailer also shows other suspenseful moments. Rip finds John’s body on the side of the road. He bunds over him and says, “John, don’t you die on me now. Not like this. You hear me?”
