By a show of hands — how many of you Outsiders are excited for the return of “Yellowstone” in exactly two weeks?
Well, we can’t see you…but we know that is a lot of hands.
Yes, it is time to get excited for the return of our favorite modern western drama series. In just 14 days and a couple of hours, “Yellowstone” will be back in our lives.
As excited as fans are about the return of the show, they are also not the only ones ready for season four to arrive. Several members of the “Yellowstone” cast have taken to social media to express their excitement as well.
A few of the newcomers to the show, like Finn Little, Piper Perabo, and Jacki Weaver, are extra excited to see their first episode. Little, who will play a new character named “Carter” even began a countdown to the season four premiere on his Instagram page. Little will be the second youngest member of the primary cast behind only Tate Dutton actor, Brecken Merrill.
Merrill has been quite active on social media since the third season of “Yellowstone” came to an end last year. He enjoys sharing his latest adventures and newest hobbies with his fans and social media followers. He also offers a look behind the “Yellowstone” curtain every once and a while. In his latest behind-the-scenes post, Merrill introduces us to one of his four-legged co-stars, Finn the Wolf.
“My, what big eyes you have. The better to watch Yellowstone with, my dear,” Merrill says in his post. “It’s Yellowstone Sunday and I know we are hungry for season four. Only 14 more days to go!”
‘Yellowstone’ Star Brecken Merrill Checks in With Fans
The young “Yellowstone” star has noted on a few occasions that he loves animals and getting to work with them on set. In a previous season, we see Tate Dutton get his own horse that he promptly names “Lucky” after learning how to take care of him. It looks like horses aren’t the only animals Tate will be interacting with in the fourth season. One wonders what role this giant wolf will have in the “Yellowstone” future.
“Here are a few behind-the-scenes pics of me and Finn (Finn the wolf/goodest boy – not to be mistaken for Finn Little, one of our new cast members),” Merrill says. “Both of the Finns are taller than me. At least they were…maybe not anymore.”
Merrill concludes his social media by telling fans just how much he loves working with animals on the show.
“I love animals and I have gotten to work with so many amazing animals on Yellowstone- 🐴horses, 🦬 bison, 🐻bears, 🐺wolves and 🐍 snakes to name just a few,” he says.
