Are those two sets of wedding bells we hear on the Yellowstone ranch? After the show’s recent social media post, it may be.
*cue “Going to the Chapel” by the Dixie Cups, please.
Could these two eligible cowboy bachelors be getting hitched? While one isn’t far-fetched, the other may come as a shock.
Yellowstone’s social media account may have thrown excited fans a hint with their most recent post.
The picture shows our beloved Lloyd and Rip Wheeler standing side-by-side in a field, majestically gazing off into the distance.
The caption suggests there may not be just one “best man” in the future, stating, “Need a best man? We’ve got two. #YellowstoneTV.”
Yellowstone’s Cowboys are Becoming Cowmen
They grow up so fast.
From what we know right now from Yellowstone, Rip is set to marry Beth. Rip also asked his most trusted friend, Lloyd, to be the best man for his wedding. However, after Beth’s recent brush with death, we aren’t even sure she will live to see another day, let alone walk down the aisle.
Could Rip not be the only man ready to settle down on the Yellowstone ranch? Although we find it unlikely, is Lloyd going to put a ring on his young little buckle bunny?
Beware the Buckle Bunny
In season three, Lloyd met Laramie, a young blonde barrel racing beauty with the hots for older men. Although the two have been hanging out, is this because her best friend, Mia, who is dating Jimmy, needs a wingman? Couldn’t she have chosen one of the younger cowboys in the house? They aren’t lacking in the talent or looks department.
Who knows, maybe Yellowstone will throw us another curveball. Perhaps Laramie is ready to settle down with Lloyd, who is bound to be at least double her age.
But, in the famous words of the wise cowboy, “She’s old enough to vote and buy bullets. Don’t blame me for her bad judgment.”
I mean, the man’s got a point.
Anyway, does this mean that Rip will turn around and be the best man for Lloyd? That would be sweet, although we just don’t foresee Lloyd getting on one knee for the young cowgirl.
Additionally, Laramie moved on from Lloyd by the end of the season. She didn’t move very far, though, only a few bunks down to Walker’s bed. So yeah, it makes the possibility of the odd couple linking up for good even more far-fetched.
Could season four of Yellowstone possibly show Laramie rocking more than just a big ole buckle, but a wedding band? Oh gosh, June, where the heck are you. We are starting to worry.
