‘Yellowstone’ TV Star Mo Brings Plenty Shows Off Cowboy Skills on a Rearing Horse: ‘Kid in a Candy Store’

by Robert Davis

Yellowstone” star Moses Brings Plenty showed off his cowboy skills in an Instagram post. He said the experience left him feeling “like a kid in the candy store.”

Fans of the show know Mo as the driver and the assistant of Thomas Rainwater, the chairman of the Confederated Tribes of Broken Rock. Rainwater is also the leader of the Broken Rock Indian Reservation. So far, Mo has appeared in nearly every episode of the show.

On the show, Mo is as stoic as they come. However, a completely different side of him came out while he was riding a horse recently.

“Danny Levine was training his rearing horse and told me to jump on,” Mo wrote in his Instagram post. “He didn’t have to tell me twice, he had me at “jump” and by the time he got to “on” I was already there. I was like a kid in a candy store — a pie-eyed kid in a candy store.”

Several fans told Mo how “awesome” and “cool” the video he shared is. Others also called it “legendary” and gave him a familiar “yee-haw” for the ride.

“Beautiful horse and you look so happy… smile as wide as the sky!” one commenter wrote.

“Cowboy up!” another one shared.

“Yellowstone” is an American television drama about the conflicts between a family of cattle ranchers, a neighboring Indian reservation, and nearby public lands. It officially aired in 2018 on the Paramount Network. The show has completed three seasons, with a fourth to be released at a later date.

The premise of the show follows the Dutton Family, owners of the largest cattle ranch in the country. The show’s star, Kevin Costner, plays John Dutton. Dutton constantly struggles with maintaining control over the ranch.

Alongside Costner, the show also stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilley and Cole Hauser. It was created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson.

Since the show first aired, it has won several awards. It has won the “Bronze Wranger” at the Western Heritage Awards in three consecutive tries.

It was also a nominee for the International Film Music Critics Award in 2019. That same year the show was nominated for a American Society of Cinematographers award for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography in Episode of a Series for Commercial Television.

What’s Coming Up on Season 4?

Judging by the one-minute trailer that was recently released, “Yellowstone” promises several twists and turns in the upcoming season.

“You can’t reason with evil, son,” John Dutton said an iconic quote from a previous season. “It won’t stop until it’s won, or you kill it. But to kill it is to be meaner than evil.”

However, a final release date for the first episode of Season 4 hasn’t been announced yet, leaving fans of the show to wait anxiously.
