Now that Yellowstone is up and running in Season 4, people are wondering if Jamie Dutton’s baby will return to the show’s mix soon?
Or will show producers wait until later on in another storyline?
If you caught the season premiere, then you know Jamie, played by Wes Bentley, got into a screaming match with Beth Dutton, played by Kelly Reilly. She thinks Jamie has something to do with the attacks on the Duttons.
Yellowstone fans are wondering about the baby storyline in a Reddit thread. One titled “Whatever happened to _____?” opens up with a comment from AnnaNonna.
‘Yellowstone’ Fans Take Guesses As To When Christina, Baby Show Up
“The baby probably hasn’t been born yet,” the Redditor writes. “I expect we will see Christina show up with the baby sometime during S4. Her reaction to finding out Jamie was adopted and her baby isn’t a Dutton by blood will be interesting. I always took her for a gold digger.”
Yellowstone fan hairybutbald writes, “Ohhhh good point!”
Then fan Jared_from_Quiznos writes, “I’m actually surprised how this isn’t obvious. Christina was VERY clear on how her and the baby are moving forward.”
Burning Goddess adds, “I think she will first be thrilled to learn Jamie isn’t actually a Dutton by blood – but she’ll be even more disgusted to know that Jamie has chosen to side with his convicted murderer bio dad. It will be interesting!”
Well, Yellowstone fans are watching very closely now that Season 4 is up and running. Catch another new episode on Sunday nights on the Paramount Network. Kevin Costner stars as John Dutton. Besides Reilly and Bentley, other cast members include Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbille, and Jennifer Landon.
Wes Bentley Talks About What He Hopes For Jamie In Season 4
So, we’ve heard from fans about what they want to see when it comes to Yellowstone.
Bentley has some thoughts, too, when it comes to Jamie Dutton.
He talked about it with Channel Guide Magazine. Where are his loyalties? Do they lie with his biological father, Garrett Randall? Or are they still with John Dutton?
“I tend to, when I’m playing my characters, my first rule is to not judge them or try not to have a personal opinion or feeling about them,” Bentley said. “But over the seasons, that’s harder than on a film.
“I do catch myself wanting stuff for him because I know him,” he said. “But I also know he is not a great guy. He hasn’t done great things, so I feel weird about wanting something good for a man who’s murdered somebody.”
Well, Outsiders, we’ll have to see what plans Jamie has cooked up. But the season is still young, so keep watching.
