“Yellowstone” is wishing one of its many star actors the happiest of birthdays today as Jefferson White celebrates another year on earth.
“Yellowstone” fans know Jefferson White as the quirky but lovable former meth cook turned cowboy, Jimmy Hurdstrom. Jefferson has managed to turn Jimmy into one of the most well-liked characters on the show, a testament to his acting skills. Jimmy has had a hard life on and off the ranch but seems to be finding some real stability on “Yellowstone” Ranch. We first meet Jimmy back in the very first episode of the show when Rip barges into his mobile home. Clearly high as a kite, Jimmy has no clue why Rip is there or why he has a cattle prod in his hands. He was certainly about to find out though and Rip gives him his very own “Y” brand right on his chest.
Jefferson’s work as ranch hand Jimmy on the show is some of the finest acting “Yellowstone” has to offer. Fans are excited to see what Jefferson and Jimmy will be cooking up in the upcoming fourth season. But first things first, we all want to wish Jefferson White a very special day on his birthday.
“Hey, Jefferson White! Happy Birthday!” the celebratory social media post says.
Numerous “Yellowstone” fans also join in to wish the star a happy birthday. One of the replies to the social media post came from Jefferson himself, who wanted to thank everyone for remembering him on his birthday.
“Thank you all!!” White says in his reply. “I feel very very lucky!!”
‘Yellowstone’ Star Jefferson White’s Status Uncertain For New Season
We know Jefferson White is returning to the “Yellowstone” cast for season four but Jimmy’s status is very much up in the air.
The last image we see of Jimmy before season three fades to black is him lying face down in the dirt. He’s just fallen off of a bucking horse and could be seriously hurt or dead. At the very least, he will be in big trouble once John Dutton finds out he’s been attempting to rodeo again. After paying his medical bills from a previous injury, John tells Jimmy he can no longer rodeo.
But, Jimmy has a girlfriend for the first time in his life and appears willing to do anything to hold onto her. Mia, a “buckle bunny,” only likes guys who actively participate in rodeos, and Jimmy plans to keep at it even against John Dutton’s wishes.
It would be hard to find a “Yellowstone” fan not pulling for Jimmy’s survival but we will see what happens to him when the new season premieres this Sunday.
