Carrie Ann Inaba is in the middle of a break from her day job, but that hasn’t stopped her from posing questions to her fans on social media.

Inaba is a co-host and moderator on the CBS Daytime talk show, The Talk. However, she is perhaps best known for her work on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.

For fans out there who may have missed the news, she recently decided to take a leave of absence from The Talk back in late April. She said that she has been struggling with a number of different health issues. Some of those include spinal stenosis, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren’s syndrome, and lupus.

But despite the seriousness of what Inaba is facing, she always does her best to stay positive and update her fans. Her most recent post came on Tuesday afternoon where she asks her followers the question that is on her mind.

“Just a thought to share today.. are you ‘growing’ or are you ‘going’?” Carrie Ann Inaba asks her followers on Instagram. “And can someone tell me why my video is so blurry? #techissues lol.”

Carrie Ann Inaba Wants to ‘Grow’ Through Life

It was only a month ago that Carrie Ann Inaba told the world that she was taking a temporary break from her role on The Talk. The news of her stepping away came as a surprise to fans at the time, but now it does start to make sense.

“Don’t go through life, grow through life,” Inaba says in her Instagram video. “I so love this idea. It is kind of how I live my life. I’m always trying to grow. That’s just kind of the best part of life is growing.”

And although we all experience our ups and downs in life, Carrie Ann Inaba believes that we should continue to try and grow and be better than what we were yesterday.

“It’s not always easy. Sometimes it hurts and sometimes you get gray hairs from doing it,” she says with a laugh. “But life is such an adventure. If you just go through it and get through each day, I don’t know if that’s really what it’s meant for. But if you think of yourself as trying to grow and put yourself beyond, I think that is when the miracles happen. That’s when magnificent things and surprises happen.”
