And now, we have seen it all. On Sunday (June 11th), Jungle Cruise star Dwayne Johnson took to his Instagram to share with fans an unusual situation he experienced during his daily workout.

“It’s either this hawk’s Copperhead snake or my weekend workout,” Dwayne  Johnson states in the post’s caption. He then states that he tried to open the door with firm “DJ” energy but instead of flying away, the hawk became “pissed” and didn’t stop squawking at him. “Clearly we both have a few things in common, but he’s gotta eat and I gotta train…”

Dwayne Johnson also writes that seeing a hawk in their hunting/killing/eating mode up close and personal is actually amazing. He describes the bird as being “deceptively massive, impressive, and very powerful mana.”

Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Jungle Cruise’ Co-Star Emily Blunt Refers to Him as Her ‘Most Enormous Buddy’

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Emily Blunt discusses her friendship with her Jungle Cruise co-star, Dwayne Johnson. “[He] has become my most enormous buddy,” Blunt declares in the interview. She also states that she thinks she imagined that he would be “larger than life.” “But I usually show up Dwayne Johnson in the gym. I think he’s a bit intimidated working out with me,” Emily brags.

Dwayne Johnson then chimes in and says, “She said, ‘I can bench more than you!’ I said, ‘Yeah, absolutely.’”

‘The Rock’ Shares More Details About ‘Jungle Cruise’

According to IMDb, Jungle Cruise is based on Disneyland’s theme park ride where a small riverboat takes a team of travelers through a jungle that is filled with dangerous animals as well as a “supernatural element.”

Emily Blunt plays Dr. Lily Houghton, a traveler who is in search of a “mythic tree.” She hires Frank the skipper (played by Dwayne Johnson) to take her down the dangerous river. Also during the interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dwayne describes the Jungle Cruise ride as Walt Disney’s main attraction when the park opened. “Now we have this incredible opportunity to turn [the ride] into a movie.

Dwayne Johnson also shares with Collider how Jungle Cruise is different from his Jumanji films. “I think that we got lucky with Jumanji,” he states. “We made a good movie that a big amount of people like, and it did well.” He says Jungle Cruise is actually completely different.

“There are the movies that truly inspire this movie.” Dwayne Johnson then names off Romancing the Stone, Pirates of the Caribbeans as the inspirations. “We have an opportunity here to make a movie that’s based off an iconic Disney ride that has been beloved for generations.”

Jungle Cruise will be in theaters and Disney+ with Premiere Access on July 30th.
