Kelly Clarkson blew her show’s audience away with her insane cover of “Barracuda.”

For her show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kelly serves up “Kellyoke” –it’s like karaoke but with Kelly. During the segment, she covers hit songs from genres including pop, rock or country, or whatever else she’s feeling. And she never fails to deliver a powerhouse performance.

For her most recent Kellyoke, Kelly brought down the house with her cover of the rock n’ roll classic “Barracuda” by Heart. Dare we say that we may even like Kelly’s version just as much as Heart’s. We knew Clarkson was a vocal powerhouse, and this is just another moment that proves that.

Kelly Clarkson Is ‘A Ray Of Sunshine’ In A Dark Year

She first captured audiences’ hearts when she made her debut on American Idol in 2002. Since then, Kelly has soared to fame with her music. Certainly, when you watch interviews with Kelly, it’s clear that she has a knack for conversation. However, the extent of her entertaining abilities wasn’t entirely revealed until the debut of The Kelly Clarkson Show in September 2019.

During its pilot week, the show garnered 2.6 million viewers and a 1.6 household rating. That was the best premiere rating for a new first-run syndicated program since Katie in 2012. The show earned three Daytime Emmy Awards at the 47th Daytime Emmy Awards. Additionally, Kelly won Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host.

The show’s description says that each episode of the show is packed with “remarkable stories, celebrity guests, spontaneous surprises, humor, heart and, of course, good music.”

In December 2020, NBCUniversal announced that it is renewing The Kelly Clarkson Show through at least 2023. Along with the announcement, NBC Executive Vice President, Tracie Wilson that she was happy to be able to continue the show.

“One ray of sunshine in this wildly unpredictable year. We get to continue to deliver to stations and fans a show that brings people together,” said Wilson.
