The “Since You Been Gone” singer, Kelly Clarkson, has been long-gone from Tennessee for some time now.

Now, the singer is located in Los Angeles, California. Clarkson is in the city for work. She is a mentor on NBC’s “The Voice.” She also hosts her own talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” which earned a Daytime Emmy Award recently. Her show is also taking over the time slot that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” had on TV. It is ending after 19 seasons.

She said goodbye to her 20,000-square-foot mansion in Hendersonville, Tennessee. After four years, Clarkson finally got a buyer for about $6.3 million. It was originally listed as $8.75 million.

Regardless, the “Breakaway” singer is breaking away and putting down all-new roots.

According to Architectural Digest, Clarkson bought a $5.445 million house. It is located in Los Angeles’s Toluca Lake area. The area of California has attracted many celebrities over the years, including Miley Cyrus, Steve Carell, Viola Davis, Kirsten Dunst, Melissa McCarthy, and Octavia Spencer.

She’s going down in overall property space quite a bit — her L.A. crib is a quarter of her Nashville-area mansion. Despite that, her new space still has several astounding features. That includes a sunroom with a massive fireplace, a dining room with floral wallpaper, and a very large living room with another fireplace.

The house is a five-bedroom, seven-bathroom space. She has her own main suite as well, which includes a personal living area, another fireplace, a bathroom, and unique green, stone floors.

It’s more than likely the “American Idol” winner will want to enjoy the gorgeous California weather. Her new property has a swimming pool, spa, tennis court, a gazebo, and even a guesthouse to do all that.

Kelly Clarkson is certainly no stranger to the wonders of real estate. She also owns a massive and gorgeous ranch in Montana. Clarkson also owns a 10,000-square-foot farmhouse in Encino, California. She has been trying to get rid of this property since her divorce from Brandon Blackstock last year. This property is listed for about $9 million.

Kelly Clarkson Emmy Awards

So far, Kelly Clarkson is having amazing success as a talk show host. This will likely only improve when she moves into Ellen DeGeneres’s popular TV slot.

As it turns out, she now has the same number of Daytime Emmys as she has Grammys. She must be doing something right.

“The Kelly Clarkson Show” won for outstanding talk show during the 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. She also walked away with the award for outstanding entertainment talk show host. Her program is only on its second season so far.

She has three Grammys and Emmys. According to Billboard, Clarkson accepted the awards virtually. She proceeded to thank all her producers for helping her tell “heartfelt stories” to the public. Clarkson also gave a shoutout to her band, which backs her up during her very popular Kellyoke segments.

Some of her most popular covers have been of “Rolling in the Deep,” “drivers license,” and “Breathe Me.”
