“Big fan of matching my outfit to the nearest car.” Maggie, daughter of Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak, is the Lady in Red this Thursday.
Fans of the classic game show surely know Maggie Sajak by now. She’s made a few appearances on the set with both her father and his co-host, Vanna White. She’s even become something of a frontrunner to follow into White’s footsteps once she retires (which we hope is never). Honestly, we’d love to see how she does in her father’s role, instead. How fantastic would it be to have a Sajak follow a Sajak in leading Wheel of Fortune into another generation?
While she certainly has a lot of her father’s talent and communications savvy – her most recent Instagram photo will have Wheel of Fortune fans drawing comparisons to White and her siren-esque role in pop culture, instead.
“Is there such a thing as an opposite-of-your-personality pic? if so, here’s mine,” says the daughter of Pat Sajak. Within, Maggie absolutely stuns in what might as well be a cover for – well – any magazine ever, gladly. Curiously, her backdrop is a car within a normal-looking garage. But we won’t blame you for one second if you don’t see the car or garage.
“Alter-ego ?? ❤️” one Instagram fan comments in turn. Maggie is looking beyond fierce, for sure. Who says she can’t be both sunshiney and fierce when she wants to?
“Well, you are truly beautiful, and I don’t think THAT’S the opposite of your personality. You seem to be a beauty inside and out,” another follower offers.
Wheel of Fortune fan Christina nails it, however, with: “Britney circa 2000 vibes 😍 #oops #youdiditagain.”
Could Maggie Sajak Step Up for ‘Wheel of Fortune’s Future?
So what are the actual chances of Maggie taking father Pat Sajak’s place on the show? Or Vanna White’s? They’re growing by the year, it seems!
Maggie has made a couple of appearances on the show, as we touched on. For several nights in Season 37, Maggie Sajak was a featured player (not contestant) on Wheel of Fortune. She almost shadowed Vanna entirely, as if learning her role – which got audiences immediately talking.
In fact, in August of 2020, Maggie posted a “throwback” to herself in “sparkles and dresses and playing a small part in season 37 of @wheeloffortune” alongside Vanna. “Can’t wait to watch season 38 starting next month!” she continued.

Through it all, we Outsiders can’t help but think how brilliantly Maggie Sajak would fit into the WoF world. Whether that be stepping into her father’s shoes – or Vanna’s – only time will tell.
