Pat Sajak and Vanna White have made thousands of episodes of Wheel of Fortune. During that time, mistakes will happen. That’s why it’s so important to have each other’s back. Even though it’s funny to watch them tease the other for making such a blunder.

Wheel of Fortune tweeted a video of one such incident recently. It in, Sajak has to give White a little help when she can’t find a letter.

In the video, the contestant calls out the letter “D.” White walks right past the glowing cube, and before she can start to panic, Sajak calls her back to the correct square. But it’s when the next letter is called that Sajak makes sure to get the jab in.

When the contestant buys an “A,” Sajak looks over to his co-host and says “Can you find that? Boy, I’m just feisty today.”

At the end of the show, Sajak said he’d never seen Vanna search for a letter. But White explained that sometimes, since she’s so far away, she can’t hear the contestants well. She’d heard a different letter and went searching for it on the board.

“But you said ‘no, it’s behind you, Vanna. Back up.'” White recalled. “And that’s fine, thank you for helping me.”

“And your breaks work really well, Sajak joked back.

But joking aside, they said they enjoying helping each other out and sharing the stage together.

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Hosts Pick Up World Records

Wheel of Fortune hasn’t just brought Sajak and White fame and fortune, they’ve also picked up a few Guinness World Records along the way, according to an article on Radio.com

Sajak holds the record for being the person to host the same game show longer than any other individual. He earned that award in March 2019. At that time, he had been on Wheel of Fortune for 35 years and 198 days.

Vanna White’s Guinness World Record is a bit more applause-worthy. According to Radio.com, White is television’s most frequent clapper.

White has always been quick to share a clap for a smart contestant or a good play, but it goes much further than that.

She received this accolade in May 2014. At that time, she was averaging 600-plus claps in every episode of Wheel of Fortune. It’s a wonder she still can turn the letters.
