She is probably one of the most well-known game show cohosts of all time. When Vanna White first found her way into living rooms across the county in 1982, the “Wheel of Fortune” hostess made a splash. Ever since her debut, Vanna White has been a television icon, setting high standards for game-show hosts everywhere.

In the fall of 2013, the “Wheel of Fortune” letter-turner sat down for a discussion with Las Vegas Magazine. During the interview, Vanna White opened up about her career, her hobbies, and what it is like to be the most famous game-show hostess of all time.

“She’s the queen of letters, the keeper of the alphabet,” Las Vegas Magazine said of the popular gameshow star. “She’s the game show kingdom’s reigning queen.”

Vanna White has been welcomed into homes across the country every night as contestants compete for prizes in the “hangman”-style word game. It would be extremely hard to imagaine not just “Wheel of Fortune” without her, but the whole game show genre.

“Wheel of Fortune” Hostess Says Real Estate Has Always Intrigued Her

Thankfully, that isn’t something “Wheel of Fortune” fans have to do any time soon. The star has made it clear that she doesn’t intend to step away from the letter board anytime soon. The star even found herself stepping in for “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak during a health emergency in 2019.

However, Las Vegas Magazine was curious what the longtime letter revealer would choose to do had she not landed the hostess spot forty years ago.

“I can’t imagine!” the White gushed when asked what she would be doing if she wasn’t on “Wheel of Forturne.”

“I don’t know what else I would be doing. Probably real estate, maybe,” the game show beauty revealed, adding that she is a fan of some of HGTV’s most popular shows.

“I love to watch HGTV and the shows where they fix the houses,” she said. “I love the show “Love It or List It” I’m intrigued with real estate.”

“Wheel of Fortune” has been on the air since 1975. The top-rated puzzle game gives contestants the chance to win prizes, cash, vacations, and much more each season.

Vanna White cohosts the game with longtime host, Pat Sajak. The duo has been working together on the popular game show since Vanna first set foot on the “Wheel” stage.
