Chances are if you like spicy food you have had at least one taste of Nashville hot chicken. However, you probably haven’t eaten Nashville hot chicken that required you to sign a waiver before chowing down.

That is just what is happening at a new restaurant in the state of California, according to The Modesto Bee. That restaurant is the appropriately named Angry Chickz in Ceres. This location is one of several in the chain.

Apparently, some of the food is so hot that you will probably wish you hadn’t given it a try.

“It’ll ruin your whole day, pretty much,” Mary Mkhitaryan. Her family is the owner of this wildly hot restaurant chain.

Luckily for those who don’t want to have their chicken with a side of misery, the restaurant offers different levels of heat to its patrons. The Nashville hot chicken comes in four different combinations to diners.

To order, you just pick which combination you want, then you have a very important decision to make: Just how hot do you want your chicken? Actually, your decision is probably more like: Just how miserable do you want your meal to make you?

Nashville Hot Chicken Restaurant in California Offers Different Levels of Heat

Angry Chickz gives its customers six heat level choices. The lowest is called “Country” and does not have spice, it is simply just fried chicken. Next, there is the “Mild” level, which has “light spice.”

If those two options aren’t spicy enough for you, you could choose “Medium,” which reportedly has “perfect heat,” or “Hot,” which will let you “feel the burn.”

Things start to get a little crazy with the next level of heat. This is the restaurant’s “X-Hot” level. Once you get here, you’re advised to “call 911” by the restaurant.

However, the ultimate level of heat at the restaurant is the “Angry” level. This has been described as “more of a chemical irritant than a food product.”

If you’re one of the individuals – the daring and culinary adventurous individuals – who want to try the restaurant’s hottest sauce – the “Angry” – you are going to have to do more than just order your meal.

First of all, you have to be 18 years old or older to even try it! Also, you must sign a waiver to even try the “Angry” level. The waiver reportedly states that those who decide to eat the restaurant’s Nashville host chicken with its highest level of heat should expect to experience “increased use of profanity, burning sensation of the mouth, lips, profuse sweating, bodily injury or even death.”

That’s right, bodily injury or death. If you’re brave enough for it, we salute you! And, we wish you the best of luck!

The Angry Chickz chain opened its first location in Los Angeles, California, in 2018. It has expanded to 12 locations in California. It also has one restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Of course, it offers a variety of sides to go with its hot chicken. These include coleslaw, mac and cheese, and fries.
