RV Seller Writes Brutally Honest Description of Camper from Hell

by Michael Freeman

When selling an item, you typically don’t lie about its condition, but you do try to make it sound appealing. In an odd twist from the norm, an RV seller posted a brutally honest description of its camper.

Selling the item on eBay, it’s called a “slab of misery on wheels.” The Bedford CF Motorhome was listed on the site for a mere £300. Apparently, it was intended to be a “joint” project with his now-ex girlfriend, LADBible reports.

“Up for sale is my 1984 Bedford CF camper van. A perfect restoration candidate for another coerced partner, or sadist,” the listing states. Elaborating on the “coerced partner” line, the seller said he and his significant other intended to turn it into a “perfect tranquil cabin on wheels.” Things did not end up as planned.

“Fast forward a few months and she decided to up and leave (probably for a man with a much more impressive motorhome than mine) leaving only behind this sad slab of misery on wheels. Apart from being an eyesore and driving down local property prices, it serves as a personal reminder that the last few years of my life have truly and utterly been a waste.”

At a glance, you might think the RV has no redeeming qualities. However, it appears to be “rock-solid underneath” and “doesn’t leak anymore.” Furthermore, the brakes function well and it comes with “a whole load of other crap.”

So, there you go. If you’re in the market for an RV, you can try your hand with this… thing. Currently at £1,340, maybe you will have more luck than he did. In the seller’s own words, “Happy bidding and good luck (God knows you’re gonna need it).”

Video Game Character-Shaped Chicken Nugget Sells for Nearly $100K on eBay

This year truly is bizarre for eBay listings. Whereas the RV will likely sell for a pittance, a chicken nugget shaped like a video game character sold for almost $100,000.

The McDonald’s McNugget in question is shaped like the player-controlled characters from Among Us. Releasing in 2018, the video game is still wildly popular and regularly receives updates. Listed in May of this year and ending in early June, it sold for a massive $99,997.

Initially being listed for less than a dollar, its price quickly skyrocketed. After reaching $30,000, the official Among Us Twitter account reacted to the listing.

“there’s a $34,443.43 among us chicken nugget on sale and i don’t know how to feel about it??? but also?? i want it,” the caption reads. They even sent a followup tweet to the official McDonald’s account, saying “@McDonalds split the cost with me or send me one for free!! ok thank u.”

Luckily, the nugget was frozen and air-sealed for the buyer before it was sent off. Considering the money the seller made, I’d say it’s warranted.
