Sturgis 2021: When, Where Is the Biggest Bike Rally This Year?

by Keeli Parkey

If you’re one of the millions of people who love hitting the open road on two wheels on your motorcycle and feeling the freedom that comes with it, there is only one place you need to go this year. That place, of course, is Sturgis, South Dakota.

The 2021 Sturgis Rally is slated for Aug. 6 through Aug. 15, 2021, in that small western South Dakota town, according to its official website.

The annual event is described on the website as: “The Sturgis Rally has grown a lot since it started in 1938. In addition to racing and hill-climbing events, the Black Hills offers the best scenic rides to iconic destinations such as Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain, and Devils Tower. If you want to get off the road, there are scores of wild west and early Black Hills history museums and so much more!”

The 2021 staging of the event is the 81st in its history. This year will include a solid lineup of artists who will appear in concert. There will also be other events, including charity rides, bike rides, races, breakfasts, and contests.

The concert lineup for Sturgis this year is a pretty great one. Some of the names scheduled to perform include Kid Rock, Clint Black, REO Speedwagon, Stone Temple Pilots, Vince Neil, ZZ Top, Wynonna Judd, Puddle of Mudd, Buckcherry, Reverend Horton Heat, Anthrax, Jackyl, and Black Label Society.
