Following New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s attack on President Trump on Wednesday, the president has taken to Twitter to fire back. Cuomo claimed via Twitter the president “let COVID ambush New York.” President Trump sent out his own tweet, as a result, saying Cuomo “has the worst record on death and China Virus,” referring to the novel coronavirus.
White House employees stood up for President Trump while attacking Governor Andrew Cuomo. Alyssa Farah, White House Communications Director, retweeted and responded to Cuomo’s tweet, to explain the governor’s shortcomings. She emphatically calls him out for ignoring Trump Admin guidelines.
White House correspondent Mark Knoller reports Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, also gave her take on Cuomo’s attack. She claims the governor is, in sum, a “failure.”
