Breonna Taylor Ex-Boyfriend Plea Deal

The ex-boyfriend of Breonna Taylor was offered a plea deal to say that Taylor was involved in his drug trafficking.

What the Lawyer of Breonna Taylor Had to Say

Taylor’s family is currently in a wrongful death legal battle. Attorney Sam Aguiar released a statement regarding Glover’s plea deal. He wrote a Facebook post on his personal account on Monday (August 31) regarding the situation.

Aguiar called the action taken by Commonwealth Attorney Tom Win, “bulls–t.” The attorney pointed out that Taylor was killed prior to Glover’s arrest. On March 13, Taylor was murdered.

According to documents, Glover was offered a plea deal on July 13 for his April 22 arrest. The only stipulation in the plea deal was that he named Taylor as a co-defendant.

“Umm…when was Breonna Taylor ever a co-defendant?” he questioned. He wrote that Glover originally attempted to get a plea deal to avoided jail time.

“This goes to show how desperate Tom Wine (in case anyone was wondering whose office distributed one-sided information…) is to justify the wrongful search of Breonna Taylor’s home, her killing and arrest of Kenneth Walker,” he continued. “Thank God his office recused itself, as we sure as hell know what they would’ve done. And shame on that office. Breonna Taylor is not a “co-defendant” in a criminal case. She’s dead. Way to try and attack a woman when she’s not even here to defend herself.”

Who is Jamarcus Glover?

Glover is a convicted drug dealer that dated Taylor prior to her death. Police had false information that led to their “no-knock” warrant. Police shot and killed Taylor in her home. At the time of her death, she was not dating Glover.

Glover did not take the plea deal. In recently released jail phone calls, Glover said that Taylor was never involved in any crime.
