Former NFL star Chad Johnson took to Twitter this week to invite his social media followers to a guessing game.

Providing only a small clue to the answer, Johnson boasts that fans would not be able to guess his favorite movie. With well over 3 million followers, Johnson was sure no one would be able to figure out the obscure movie reference.

“Bet y’all can’t guess this movie,” Johnson writes on Twitter. “One of my favorites.”

Johnson would be proven wrong as several of his followers were able to guess the movie correctly-“Howard the Duck.”

Johnson Reveals Favorite Movie

The movie came out in 1986 with little fanfare. Howard The Duck has even made appearances on a few “worst movies of all-time” lists. Moreover, it scores a lowly 14 percent on movie-review site Rotten Tomatoes, which cites Howard the Duck is a sci-fi, comedy about the adventures of Howard, a 20-something duck from Duckworld. The movie is based on a Marvel Comic Book, and Howard would later go on to make a brief cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Rotten Tomatoes summarizes the film as “Based the comic book character, Howard the Duck is suddenly beamed from Duckworld, a planet of intelligent ducks with arms and legs, to Earth, where he lands in Cleveland. There he saves rocker Beverly (Lea Thompson) from thugs and forms a friendship with her. She introduces him to Phil (Tim Robbins), who works at a lab with scientist Dr. Jenning (Jeffrey Jones). When the doctor attempts to return Howard to his world, Jenning instead transfers an evil spirit into his own body.”

Chad Johnson is known for his quirky actions during his time in the NFL. He once famously changed his name to Chad “Ochocinco” to match the number 85 he wore during his playing days.

Johnson’s guessing game undoubtedly achieved the desired effect, receiving over 3,000 likes and 361 retweets as of Wednesday morning.
