by Samantha Whidden

Prepare to be mind-blown! A Chick-Fil-A employee took to their TikTok account to show what really goes on in the restaurant chain’s kitchens.

The video was shared by Alex Guerrero on May 29th, and describes, “A Chick-Fil-A secret I bet you didn’t know. Our kitchen sends the food to the window using a conveyor belt to make things move faster.”

The viral video’s caption also reads, “The more ya know #chickfila #chickfilasecret.”

According to PC Popculture, not all Chick-Fil-A stores operate with a conveyor belt system. The fast food company also confirmed that approximately 30 stores are now utilizing the conveyor belt system currently, which makes up roughly 1% of the restaurant’s locations.

Chick-Fil-A also notes that not all the conveyors are quite as elaborate as the one seen in the viral video. Many are horizontal conveyance systems are now in use at locations with more than one drive-thru lane as a way to bring items to secondary drive-thru kiosks. Meanwhile, the other conveyors are at restaurant locations with multiple stories.

Chick-Fil-A Makes Customers Happy By Bringing Back a Fan-Favorite Milkshake

Chick-Fil-A also recently announced it is bringing back one of its best milkshakes, peach! Per Chick-Fil-A’s latest press release, the peach milkshake has been periodically showing on the restaurant’s menu since 2009.

“We’re excited to offer guests more variety on our menus this year, and that includes bringing back some of our seasonal favorites, like our Peach Milkshake,” Beth Hefner at Chick-Fil-A, states. “It’s the little things like a cold treat on a warm day that makes summer so sweet, and this is one of the many reasons we are thrilled to welcome back this much-anticipated favorite.”

Burger Kings Throws Some Shade

Burger King threw some shade at Chick-Fil-A recently after announcing the “Ch’King” promotion for June, which is LGBTQ+ Pride month. Burger King will donate money to the Human Rights Campaign for each Ch’King bought.

The company revealed on its social media accounts, “The #ChKing says LGBTQ+ rights! during #pride month (even on Sundays), your chicken sandwich craving can do good! we are making a donation* to @HRC for every Ch’King sold.*6/3-6/30 with every Ch’King sold, BK will contribute 40₵ to the Human Rights Campaign (Max. donation $250k).”

Since Chick-fil-A does not open on Sundays, it was obviously a jab at the competitor. Chick-Fil-A has stood by its Sunday closings as a way to give employees a chance to rest, spend time with family and friends, or set aside one day to worship if they so choose.
