In an Instagram post this morning, Cole Hauser posted the new poster for his upcoming film, ‘The Last Champion’. Hauser describes it as “a story of faith, friendship, love, addiction, and redemption.”
The movie’s Instagram account also posted the trailer for the wrestling film, and we must say, even though we don’t know a thing about wrestling, it looks like a good movie.
We are getting both Karate Kid and Miracle vibes from the upcoming movie trailer, which will be available on digital on December 8. In addition, excited fans can preorder it from iTunes now.

The Yellowstone actor stars as a former multi-state champion wrestler, John Wright, who makes it all the way to the Olympics, however, a scandal costs him the title. Fast forward twenty years, Wright returns back to his hometown to try to save his mother’s house from foreclosure after her death. However, he is greeted with an unfriendly welcome due to his past.
Wright decides to stick with what he knows and returns to the wrestling mat to train young men in high school in the sport. This is where he meets Michael Miller (Sean Scully). Miller comes from a troubled family yet shows the potential to make it far in the sport. “Can John become the leader, the team, and Michael needs, or will he lose himself to the dark demons of his past?”
Other stars that are featured in the film include Hallie Todd from Lizzie McGuire, Randall Batinkoff, who played the agent in X-Men: First Class, and Peter Onorati, who plays This is Us‘ Stanley Pearson. Annika Marks from The Fosters and Bob McCracken on Sons of Anarchy are also in the movie.
