Health Update on Conchata Ferrell
Ferrell’s husband, Arnie, told TMZ on Wednesday (July 16) that after a stint in the intensive care unit, she went into cardiac arrest for approximately ten minutes.
Arnie told the outlet that she is in a respiratory unit as she is currently on a respirator in addition to receiving dialysis treatments for her kidneys. She has been in a semi-conscious state but can not talk or communicate. Her condition is now considered stable.
“It’s going to be a while before there’s any recovery,” Arnie said. “It’s all neurological. There’s nothing we can do to speed it up the process. We are hoping for the best.”
Unfortunately, Arnie can not visit his wife due to the coronavirus pandemic. Hospital guidelines state that loved ones can not visit. Ferrell is not suffering from any coronavirus (COVID-19) related illness.
