Coroner Estimates Gabby Petito Passed Several Weeks Before Her Body Was Found

by Jon D. B.

In another bombshell revelation, the Grand Teton Coroner’s office in Wyoming has revealed the estimated time of death for Gabby Petito.

“Coroner says they are estimating Gabby Petito died 3 to 4 weeks before the body was found,” announced Brian Entin on Twitter Oct. 12 at 1:34 PM Central. The Florida-based reporter has proven a top breaking news source for the case, and continues the trend Tuesday.

Tuesday’s reveals hold devastating implications for Gabby Petito’s murder. Earlier today, the coroner’s cause of death for the 22-year-old would surface as “strangulation.”

“Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue says Gabby Petito died by strangulation,” Entin would tweet two minutes prior. The news comes weeks after the Wyoming coroner revealed her death as a homicide.

These latest bombshell reveals follow after weeks of officials withholding Petito’s autopsy results from the public. Experts across the board call this highly “unusual,” and much of the highly-invested American public feels the same.

Gabby Petito Likely Died August 22nd to 29th

All information is coming from Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue, who would also release the initial autopsy findings. Yet the real focus here is the murder of Gabby Petito happening a staggering 3-to-4 weeks before her body’s discovery on Sunday, September 19, 2021 in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

This would mean that Gabby Petito’s murder would take place sometime between August 22 and 29. These dates overlap with several crucial clues from the case, including “strange texts” sent from Petito’s phone to her mother.

“Earlier today, human remains were discovered consistent with the description of Gabrielle ‘Gabby’ Petito. Full forensics identification has not been completed to confirm 100 percent that we found Gabby, but her family has been notified of this discovery,” said Charles Jones, supervisory senior resident agent with the FBI office in Denver, at the discovery of the body.

Jones’ statement clarifies the horrible condition Gabby’s body would surface in. Knowing she was likely dead for 3-4 weeks beforehand lends clarity to this in turn.

Gabby Petito’s Cause of Death Puts Pressure on FBI to Find Brian Laundrie

Now that a manner of death is public, far more pressure is on the FBI and local police units to locate and apprehend Brian Laundrie. The fiance of Gabby Petito is still not, however, a suspect for murder in the case. At least not to public knowledge.

Laundrie does remain the only person of interest in the case. He remains at large now for the fourth week in a row. Last week, Florida police officers would confirm the FBI is leading the search for the 23-year-old wanted man under “enormous pressure.”

One former FBI agent and current Florida attorney, Stuart Kaplan says the FBI is not up to this manhunt, however.

“Do I think that they can sustain 24 hours, seven days a week searching for this guy? Absolutely not. That’s ridiculous,” Kaplan tells The Sun.

In the end, Brian Laundrie’s capture may be the only way to bring full closure to the death of Gabby Petito for her loved ones.
