‘1883’ Star Tim McGraw Wishes ‘Merry Christmas’ with Stunning Photo at Sunset

While Tim McGraw may be roughing it in the Taylor Sheridan drama “1883,” he’s definitely living the high life this Christmas season. The actor took some time to wish his fans a Merry Christmas with a gorgeous photo after filming the period drama.

In a new picture on Instagram, McGraw shared a photo of a gorgeously decorated Christmas tree. It was all white with sparkling lights as he wished his fanbase a happy holiday season.

Further, while the tree and the surrounding light fixtures are stunning, the sunset outside is even more gorgeous. McGraw may have been in some hairy situations while filming the “Yellowstone” spinoff, it appears that he’s living the high life now.

We hope the country star and actor and his family are having the best holiday spending time together!

McGraw Talks Unwinding on “1883” Set

Because filming “1883” was such a rigorous period, McGraw also revealed how he liked to take time and relax while on set. We imagine that he must have needed to take some time and unwind – especially with Sheridan’s expectations for authenticity.

The actor recently opened up about how he liked to unwind and relax his mind during filming the “Yellowstone” spinoff.

“I got baseball gloves and a baseball with me, so I’d throw a lot of baseball around, would throw a lot of football around. That’s one of the ways of relaxing between shots is those sorts of things. And then afterward, it’s hanging out a little bit, hanging out together, going to dinners together,” McGraw said.

He went on to add:

“When we were up in Montana we all sort of stayed at the same lodge so we’d do dinners together. Faith [Hill] and I cooked a couple of nights, so just those sorts of things [were] bonding moments between everybody in the cast. We all get along so well, we really enjoy hanging out together.”

Surprise Guest Stars on “1883”

Additionally, the show will have some impressive cameos throughout the series. McGraw says this is a special part of the series which will add some interesting twists and turns.

“I think there will probably be a few more easter eggs that show up throughout the series,” McGraw says of potential future guest stars. “That one [episode 2] was pretty special. We’ve been friends for a long time and when I gave him a call he said ‘heck yeah, tell me when to be there.’ That was pretty special that he did that. He was staying with us, but we didn’t see each other that morning until right when we arrived on set and saw each other in costume, so it made for a pretty special performance I think.”

“1883” premiered on December 19 to a record crowd. The series follows the original Duttons as they travel west from their Texas home to Montana – where the Dutton ranch was established and the empire grew.

The show is available to stream on Paramount+ – you definitely need to subscribe to the channel. It will be worth your time for sure!
