Our favorite country singing Aussie is back with some new ink. Take a look at Keith Urban’s new tribal tattoo.
What better stage to debut your new tattoo on than the 2021 ACM Awards, which Keith Urban co-hosted along with Mickey Guyton.
Yesterday, Urban had a new addition to his right hand on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. While sporting a blue jacket and black jeans, a black tribal tattoo was on display from his wrist to the top of his hand.
Going under the needle is nothing new for the 53-year-old New Zealand native. As of October of 2020, Keith Urban had seven tattoos featured on his body. The Boot touches on them in an article.

He has an eagle on his right shoulder blade, which is said to be “a personal emblem for his appreciation for America.”
He also had a tribal-style tattoo of a phoenix on his left arm.
“The symbolism of the phoenix being something that succumbs to the challenges and burns in the fire, but then is resurrected from the ashes and rises up even stronger than before,” Keith once explained to Women’s Wear Daily.
Additionally, Keith Urban has five more tattoos throughout his body. Two of them are for his wife, actress Nicole Kidman. They include one on his right wrist with the initials “NMK”. The initials cover an old tattoo that reads the Latin phrase “Omnia Vincit Amor” (“Love conquers all”). However, he got the ink with his ex-girlfriend, Niki Taylor.
On the right side of Urban’s chest, he occasionally teases fans with parts of his Tribal-inspired sun tattoo over his heart.
Keith Urban also rocks another tribal half-sleeve on his left bicep and shoulder. On the other shoulder, Urban pays tribute to his wife once again with “Nicole” surrounded by a design of hearts.
Finally, the country artist has the word “Love” in script on his left shoulder blade.
And now, his newest addition, the tribal wrist, and hand tat. Letters are also featured on his knuckles, but the exact word is unknown. Urban has not said anything yet about the ink, but we are sure it has some sort of significance to the artist.
It was hard not to notice the new body art at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night as he held a microphone.
We don’t mind inspecting him for more tattoos… all in the name of research, of course.
