The 2020 American Music Awards nominees for Favorite Female Country Artist are here!
The American Music Awards Nominees
Unlike other award shows, AMA awards typically have only three nominees. This year the Favorite Female Country Artist nominees include Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert, and Gabby Barrett.
Lambert has been nominated in this category seven times and has yet to win. Her first nomination was back in 2010.
Meanwhile, Morris was nominated for the honor in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Additionally, she was nominated for Collaboration of the Year in 2018 for “The Middle” with electronic artist Zedd. Morris reacted to the news with a series of exclamation points on Instagram.
Finally, this marks Barrett’s first AMA nomination.
